The Union Township School District is a community public school district that serves students in Kindergarten through eighth grade from Union Township, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. A new elementary school, named "Union Township Elementary School", opened for the 2006-2007 school year. The older building was renamed Union Township Middle School. As of the 2011-12 school year, the district's two schools had an enrollment of 497 students and 42.3 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.75:1.〔(District information for Union Township School District ), National Center for Education Statistics.
